Ex- Physician Faces Sexual Assault Allegations Involving Thirty-Eight Patients
Legal authorities have announced that a ex- physician stands accused of carrying out assaults involving thirty-eight victims who were patients.
The Grave Charges
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with numerous sexual offences – comprising acts against minors under the age of thirteen – spanning the period from 2017 to 2021.
One senior prosecutor said, “Our prosecutors have diligently worked to support a thorough and intricate investigation, meticulously examining the evidence to determine that there is a strong case to proceed to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
The Police Inquiry
These allegations come after what police described as a “complex investigation” into alleged sexual offences at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
The defendant is scheduled to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on 20 January.

Prosecutors outline the 45 charges comprise:
- Fifteen counts of assault.
- 17 counts of penetrative assault.
- Nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- Three counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen.
- 1 count of attempted penetrative assault.
