Comedian Amy Schumer Confirms Divorce from Husband of Seven Years
Comedian and actress Amy Schumer has disclosed that she and her spouse, culinary expert Chris Fischer have decided to end their marriage after seven years of marriage.
The Trainwreck star stated in an online announcement on Friday, accompanied by a picture of the pair on a train, that they had made the "difficult decision" to part ways and will keep prioritizing parenting their young child.
"Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever," she expressed.
Schumer, 44, and Fischer, 45, tied the knot in February 2018 and welcomed their son the following year.

She humorously noted in the Instagram post that the split is not "because I dropped some lbs" and not on account of Fischer being a "award winning chef who can still pull some hot tail".
He earned the esteemed James Beard award in the U.S. Culinary category for his 2015 Beetlebung Farm Cookbook: A Year of Cooking on Martha's Vineyard.
